IDENTITY IN CHRIST | DAY 22
2nd Corinthians 5:20-21
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.” 21 He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
I am a minister of reconciliation
A governmental ambassador lives in a foreign country and speaks firsthand for the country she or he represents. Good ambassadors stick to what their government wants them to say, not their own opinions. This is exactly how this works for you and me. We live in a non-christian world now. Can we agree on that? We represent our leader, King Jesus. We must only say what He says, and be faithful to give His message to those we come in contact with regardless of how they choose to receive it. We christ-followers around the world and all through time, have incredible news from our authority. This news will change their lives forever. How awesome is this? God uses you and me in His salvation plan for your neighbors, people in your home state, and around the world.
